Extensive hands-on experience where each candidate will spend the majority of the course injecting models . Competent and Confident to be able to carry out these procedures on your own patients. Patient selection and strategies for success 3. Anatomy of the Face 4. Neurotoxin Pharmacology 5. Contra-indications and Cautions 6. Storage and Dilution 7. Cosmetic Indication areas on the Face 8. Injection Techniques 9. Side Effects and Management of complications 10. Workshop begins with our instructors demonstrating on a model the mixing and techniques of injection of Botox and or Dysport into the three principal areas on the face. Each Candidate will be provided with Botox and or Dysport, you will then be given the opportunity of carrying out the full range of treatment on the models provided, and observing many others. This practical session will last about 3 hours but time is not a issue as before we move onto lunch, each instructor must sign off each candidate, but most important each candidate must be comfortable and confident when it come to the use of Botox and or Dysport in treating their patients. A three course lunch with coffee is then served in the Ball Room. Course agenda then proceeds after lunch with: 1. Local anaesthetics 2. Anatomy of the Trigeminal nerve 3. Infra-orbital Nerve block 4. Mental Nerve Block 5. Overview of anatomy of the skin 6. Patient Selection 7. Overview of the dermal fillers on the market 8. Concentrate on two dermal fillers namely:Restylane full range of products and Larresse 9. Uses and Techniques 10. Contraindication and Complication 11. Workshop begins with our instructors demonstrating on a model the adminstration of an infraorbital nerve block and correction of nasolabial folds on the face. Each Candidate will be provided with a model, you will then be given the opportunity of performing an infraorbital nerve block and then correction of the nasolabial fold, and observing many others. This practical session will last about 3 hours but time is not a issue, each instructor must sign off each candidate,but most important each candidate must be comfortable and confident when it come to the use of infraorbital nerve blocks and use of the different dermal fillers in treating your patients. You will come away from the course learning the skills to treat: Nasolabial folds, Lip augmentation, Oral commisures, Peri-oral lines and Fine and De wrinkles. Finally this will lead onto general questions and answer opportunity. A Bodocs certificate will be issued on completion of the course which is approved by Hamilton Fraser Insurance. All candidates will be provided with all the information and backup they will ever need. The lectures are also provided on CD Rom so no notes need to be taken to ensure a thorough and comprehensive education.
